DIAMOND CROWN MAXIMUS

Diamond Crown Maximus cigars are the top of the line, full-bodied cigar from the oldest family owned cigar company in America. The J.C. Newman Cigar Company has been manufacturing and distributing high quality, premium cigars since 1884 and they still manufacture cigars today in their historic cigar factory located in Tampa's Ybor City. The original Diamond Crown cigar has become the pinacle of quality among mild cigars, but as the market moved more toward full-bodied in the late 90’s, the late Stanford Newman wanted to create a cigar as good as the Diamond Crown but with a stronger blend. The end result was the Diamond Crown Maximus. Diamond Crown Maximus cigars are hand made in the Dominican Republic under the direct supervision of Carlos Fuente Jr. and his father, Carlos Fuente Sr. Diamond Crown Maximus cigars are made with specially aged Dominican filler tobacco and combined with a rare, top-grade Sungrown Ecuadorian wrapper tobacco grown in the El Bajo region of Ecuador. The cigar's international blend gives the Maximus full-bodied, yet smooth flavors of earth, coffee bean, and a well-balanced undertone of cedar spice. Diamond Crown Maximus cigars are available in limited numbers due to the extra special aging the tobacco undergoes and then a second aging in Carlito's massive cedar humidor aging room.
